ABOUT ME
Dog Training with James Bows
My passion for training dogs started as a child. I grew up around German Shepherds and I would often watch my dad train but it was when I was given my own puppy to train that my passion grew and was the foundation for my interest in competitive obedience. Since then I have owned and trained 2 German Shepherds and competed in IPO competions both as a trainer and a helper. With my current dog Otto we have achieved IPO level 3 and we have just qualified to represent the U.K. at a National Championship this year. I am also one of the UKs number one decoys and have been selected to go to South Africa National trials in June this year.
I can help you with any aspect of training involved with your dog. Whether you have a puppy needing the best training start to life, an older dog who might have slightly forgotten his manners or whether your dog has a specific behaviour issue, I can help!
I know each dog is different, and I’ll work with yours to give them the specific guidance they need. I look forward to speaking with you.

RESIDENTIAL
Accommodating Your Lifestyle
If your dog needs help with a specific physical or behavioural issue, Residential training with Dog Almighty may be a great option for you. Blocks from 1 week to 4 weeks can be booked at a time with personalised plans to fit your dog’s needs and your lifestyle. As well as pet dogs we offer block training for protection dogs to train personal protection and guarding. Residential is also perfect if your going on holiday and would like some daily one to one training for your dog while your away.
ONE TO ONE SESSIONS
Time for Your Dog
My One to Ones are 1 hour sessions. The first session includes a consultation which involves an intimate understanding of your animal’s natural and individual history. Your pet has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. I combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your pet.
PUPPY TRAINING
Personalised and Professional
Puppy foundation classes are one of my most popular services, which I’ve been developing and perfecting since I started Dog Almighty. Give your puppy the best start in life so they can go onto be a healthy and happy dog. Classes are fun and informative that you will both be able to enjoy.
